ABOUT US

Welcome to HeartCare Wide Bay, where we offer complete 'HeartCare' from one expert team. Located at the Urraween Specialist Centre, our team provides a comprehensive cardiovascular service in a modern and patient friendly environment.

We believe trust is important when it comes to patient care. Our doctors are supported by a team of highly skilled professionals who all work together to achieve sustainable excellence in patient care. Our delivery model is locally focussed while having the support of extensive network resources. This ensures we not only provide a personal, comprehensive and accessible service but incorporate a broader emphasis of innovation, collaboration, compassion and outcome delivery (see GenesisCare’s vision & values).

Being part of a large network ensures strong links with our partners in Bundaberg (Bundaberg Cardiology), Brisbane (HeartCare Partners) and the Sunshine Coast (HeartCare Sunshine Coast). This means that if patients require procedures or subspecialty expertise not available in Hervey Bay, we can ensure efficient access and transfer.

These are just some of the things that have made the HeartCare Group THE trusted provider of cardiology services for over 30 years.
