Who We Are

Heart Care partners focuses on providing expert heart care for our patients. We provide consulting, testing and procedural services from our main clinics and via regional clinics to service GP’s and patients throughout Qld.

Training and quality.

We actively recruit the best cardiologists to ensure a modern and innovative practice that offers the most up-to-date cardiology treatments and preventative and investigative techniques. All our Cardiologists are fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and have become experts in highly advanced and specialized cardiac disciplines - most with training over a 2 year period in world class centres both in the USA and Europe.

We believe these highly specialized procedures should only be performed by cardiologists who have this expert training and extensive experience with these procedures. We have Cardiologists who specialize in:

Echocardiography and Stress Echocardiographic procedures.
Invasive procedures such as Angiography, Angioplasty and Stenting.
Electrophysiological studies and procedures such as implanting pacemakers, defibrillators and regulation of arrhythmias.
Coronary CT Angiography.
Vascular Medicine.

Our technical staff are also trained to a very high standard – some are actively involved in examination and registration of their peers. We also regularly undertake quality assurance reviews to ensure the highest standard of examination, interpretation, and patient care during these procedures.

Practice culture.

Our workplace culture is something that we prize highly. Heart Care Partners has a collegial and collaborative environment and has invested significant effort in ensuring a balance between work and home life. We also have a ‘well-being workplace policy’ which encourages and provides opportunities for healthy eating and regular exercise.

Research and education.

Many of our cardiologists and technical staff have completed post-graduate degrees in cardiology including several PhDs. The cardiologists at Heart Care Partners have published over 100 peer reviews articles in international medical, cardiology, and scientific journals, and presented over 300 abstracts at international scientific meetings.

All members take an active approach to ongoing education through education of the referring community, and active attendance of international scientific meetings and journal clubs. In particular, we have an active education program in conjunction with selected corporate partners and hold a general practitioner education meeting at Mooloobah on the Sunshine Coast every February.
