Dr Geoff Holt is the founding partner of the practice.
He completed his FRACP in Queensland before undertaking four years of cardiology training in the USA, including two years at Mayo Clinic. Up until 2000 Geoff practised as an interventional cardiologist and since that time his focus has been non-invasive testing and medical risk assessment. While chairman of HeartCare Partners he championed the development of a fully electronic medical record, which has enabled the practice to commence monitoring the quality of care delivered and guideline adherence.
Geoff is now the Medical Director of the cardiology division of GenesisCare, a group of cardiology and cancer practices whose focus is sustainable care excellence. Geoff’s practice is at The Wesley Hospital, and Mt Ommaney, he visits Rockhampton on a monthly basis.
